Recently, Asigra, Zetta, EMC and other manufacturers have announced the introduction of cloud storage applications, cloud storage further warming.

Cloud storage Vendor Asigra announced that it will work with data backup and recovery company Corevault to launch a new enterprise-level cloud backup and recovery service for the legal field. The partnership aims to help large and small lawyers in North America protect sensitive corporate and customer data, the cloud-storage hybrid Service Pack is based on Asigra Cloud backup platforms and Corevault backup and recovery software, using commodity storage arrays to try to replace traditional backup technologies, such as tapes and discs.

Corevault companies claim that they use the secure AES 256 continuous encryption backup technology to store all data in the cloud computing environment, ensuring data security and recoverability.

At the recently concluded United States SNW Conference, Zetta also launched Zetta Enterprise Cloud Storage Service (Zetta Enterprise Cloud storage services), an extensible on-demand storage service for all types of Non-structural master data.

The cost of Zetta Enterprise Cloud STORAGE Service is 25 cents per gigabyte, mainly for small and medium sized and large enterprise users with a scale of 200~2000 and 10TB of data, especially for those who do not have a dedicated storage administrator. Service level agreements are provided to ensure performance and data integrity.

Zetta's cloud storage service uses a unique file system to hold multiple types of data, including dynamic file archiving, private directories, data migrations, media storage for online distribution, and Data Warehouse extensions. The company has started testing their services among users, and plans to extend the tests in the next few months, expanding the range of services in the third quarter of this year. According to Jeff Truehaft, the company's chief executive, the company has raised 11 million of billions of dollars to support even longer operations by the end of 2010.

In addition, EMC has recently released a high-end Symmetrix storage system V-max based on the Intel X86 four processor and integrated the VMware API to automate configuration of storage virtual machines. Barb Robidoux, vice president of EMC Storage marketing, describes: "V-max is not a previous upgrade to Symmetrix DMX-4, but rather a new architecture based on Symmetrix that is dedicated to virtual data centers." You can also view it as the underlying architecture built for private clouds. ”
