The key period of China's economic stabilization and recovery

Economic work at the next stage of the State Department's deployment according to Beijing, June 17 (Xinhua) Premier Wen Jiabao hosted the State Council's executive meeting on 17th to analyze the current economic situation and to study the deployment of the next stage of economic work.　　The meeting stressed that China's economic operation is in a key period of steady recovery, we must unswervingly continue to implement a positive fiscal policy and moderately loose monetary policy, fully implement the package of measures to deal with the international financial crisis, and constantly enrich and improve according to the changing situation. The meeting pointed out that at present, the economic operation has positive changes, favorable conditions and positive factors increase, the overall situation is stable. It must also be seen that the fundamentals of economic recovery are not solid enough and there are many uncertainties. We must be aware of this and be prepared to deal with all kinds of difficult and complicated situations over a longer period of time.  The meeting stressed that the consolidation and development of stable to the good situation, we must do the following seven work: (i) further adjustment of the structure, vigorously cultivate and expand consumer demand, to maintain stable investment growth, and comprehensively enhance domestic demand for economic growth of the pulling role. The implementation of home appliances to the countryside, the car to the countryside, farm machinery to the countryside, home appliances and other vehicles to replace the old policy, to guide housing consumption and the real estate market stable and healthy development. Earnestly implement the central Investment Plan, and do a good job in project construction. Pay attention to guide and expand private investment, break monopoly and limit. (ii) To further consolidate the status of agricultural infrastructure and maintain stable agricultural development. (c) Further play the role of science and technology, vigorously promote independent innovation. We will introduce key industries to adjust and revitalize the planning of supporting the implementation of detailed rules, and further promote enterprise technology reform, mergers and acquisitions and elimination of backward production capacity. Accelerate the implementation of major science and technology projects. (iv) Further improve energy-saving and emission reduction efforts, vigorously develop environmental protection industry, recycling economy and green economy. (e) Further promoting urban-rural co-ordination and regional coordinated development and developing new space for development. Actively and steadily promote urbanization. To comprehensively implement the overall strategy of regional development and cultivate new economic growth zones. (vi) Further deepening reform and opening-up and enhancing the impetus and vitality of economic development. We will firmly implement the policy of stabilizing external demand and launch a comprehensive policy to stabilize and expand the use of foreign capital as soon as possible to support the "going out" of enterprises. (vii) Further improve people's livelihood, strengthen the construction of social security system and improve the quality of human beings comprehensively.
