Since the non-commercial version (Vine Linux CR), some non-free applications and fonts are not included in the CD/DVD. To replace the previously private Atox x/wnn7/wnn8/vje Japanese input and ricoh/dynacomware fonts, this FTP version includes Anthy and free TrueType fonts. Vine Linux is a set of Linux distributions that integrate the Japanese environment, and it works for desktop PCs and laptops. The Vine project, which was founded in 1998 by the six members of the JPE (Japanese expansion program), relies on the help of numerous members and volunteers, and the development of Vine Linux has been advanced.
