Work http://www.aliyun.com/zixun/aggregation/32995.html "> on Windows Azure Web Sites (waws), one of the best things is to go through the rapid changes we've introduced, Just as you know what our customers need to create world-class Web applications and Web sites. Since we launched the waws preview a few months ago, we've introduced many new features and tweaks. Here's a summary of some of our newest features:

1. NET 4.5 Support

In general,. NET 4.5 includes some of the web development and. NET Framework improvements, some new features such as MVC 4 and Web APIs are available to waws users. Using Web deployments, you can migrate applications created with Visual Studio 2012 and. NET 4.5 directly to Waws (the ' Publish ' option on your Web project).

2 shared Layer

When we introduced Waws in June 2012, we allowed two types of Web sites.

-Free, the site runs in a multiuser environment with limited resources (memory, export, CPU time) and no CNAME support.

-Reserved, the site runs on a dedicated virtual machine. This option provides a pay-as-you-go resource consumption pattern and allows CNAME mappings.

When users try Waws, they provide us with feedback on the 1 CPU-reserved instances CNAME mapping a higher entry price (USD 56). To solve this problem, we recently announced our shared model, in which users pay 0.013 dollars per hour, or 9.60 dollars a month, to accept the ability to map a cname and a record. A shared web site runs in a multiuser environment while accepting a larger resource quota (memory, CPU time, and idle timeout). Unlike free web sites, shared sites are not blocked when users exceed their export quotas. Use the ' SCALE ' tab and select the ' Shared ' option to move a site to shared mode.
