Article Title: 10 popular Linux music players. Linux is a technology channel of the IT lab in China. Includes basic categories such as desktop applications, Linux system management, kernel research, embedded systems, and open source.
Whether you are using windows, linux, or Mac OS, music players must be installed. I 've been tossing over ubuntu over the past few days and tried many music players. To be honest, I still prefer foobar2000 in windows. Unfortunately, foobar2000 does not have a linux version. However, in linux, music players do not have to be few in windows, and many of them are still outstanding and gorgeous. Here we will introduce 10 music players I have installed in ubuntu and provide a solution to MP3 Chinese garbled characters.
Note that most players can install skins and plug-ins. Therefore, the installed interfaces are not necessarily displayed here.
1. Audacious
Is it like winamp?
Unfortunately, Audacious's official website does not go to write this article.
Unlike other players, Audacious not only supports the UTF-8 character set, but also supports other character sets, which can better solve the problem of Chinese garbled characters.
This article introduces a more effective method to remove Garbled text.
2. GmusicBrowser
GmusicBrowser is a simple and practical linux music player. The UI is shown in figure after it is directly installed. However, I suggest you do not stare at the album art pool.
3. Rhythmbox
Rhythmbox is my most recommended music player. It is easy to use and supports global shortcuts. Most importantly, it makes me feel like foobar2000.
4. Listen Project
The UI of Listen Music Player and Rhythmbox is similar and has similar functions. However, LMP supports reading artist information from Wikipedia.
5. BMP x
Compared with the previous two, BMP x minimizes the number of playback prompts after the tray.
Other players only prompt the song name and artist of the next song, while BMP displays the song information as follows:
