All Metro Apps on Windows 8.1 does not work

All Metro apps do not open properly, and appear to be automatically minimized to the taskbar when turned on, and cannot be restored to normal status. The corresponding error message in the event viewer\application is:

Activation of App winstore_cw5n1h2txyewy! Windows.store failed with Error:this apps does not support the contract specified or are not installed. See the Microsoft-windows-twinui/operational Log for additional information.

• If you just want to turn on PC Settings, run the command line with Administrator privileges:

Powershell-executionpolicy Unrestricted Add-appxpackage-disabledevelopmentmode-register $Env: SystemRoot\ Immersivecontrolpanel\appxmanifest.xml

• Reinstall all Metro apps and execute commands in PowerShell (It performs a full reinstall of the "Metro" apps using the following command in Powersh Ell to fix the apps minimizing on start:)

" $($_. installlocation) \appxmanifest.xml" -verbose}

What it does are this: Get-AppxPackage gets a list of installed apps packages (. appx) and Add-AppxPackage installs an app package. So the command kind of reinstalls metro applications, but with developmentmode disabled. It shouldn ' t is harmful in a sense of it won ' t install anything new or remove existing apps.
