Definitions and usage
The ng-keypress directive is used to tell angularjs what action is required to press a key on the specified HTML element.
The ng-keypress directive does not overwrite the native onkeypress event of the element, and the ng-keypress expression and the native onkeypress event are executed when the event is triggered.
Sequence of events for keystroke strokes:
1.Keydown
2.Keypress
3.Keyup
Grammar
<element ng-keypress= "expression" ></element>
<input>, <select>, <textarea>, and other editable elements support the directive.
