Appserv Upgrading PHP

Thinkphp must be php5.3 and above when installing the

The local test server is using the APPSERV integrated environment

So to upgrade PHP separately

First download the http://php.net/downloads.php Windows version of PHP above 5.3

The C:\AppServ\php5\ folder and C:\windows\php.ini are then backed up and the downloaded files are overwritten to C:\APPSERV\PHP5.

Then rename the php.ini-production to php.ini and overwrite the C:\windows\php.ini

Open and edit

Remove the following types of comments

Extension=php_curl.dll
Extension=php_gd2.dll
Extension=php_gmp.dll
Extension=php_imap.dll
Extension=php_mbstring.dll
Extension=php_exif.dll
Extension=php_mcrypt.dll

Extension=php_mysql.dll

Extension=php_pdo.dll

Extension=php_pdo_mssql.dll
Extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll

Modify Extension_dir = "c:/appserv/php5/ext/",

Restart the Apache server to complete the upgrade
