August Web server share: Apache Championship share continues to fall

IDC Commentary Network (idcps.com) August 20: Recently, Netcraft released the latest data on the global Web server. According to the show, in August, Netcraft received a total of 874,408,576 survey sites, compared to last month, an increase of 2.92%. In addition, the share of the world's top four major web servers has fallen in the month without exception. Among them, Apache reduced 0.83%, the biggest decline, the share fell to 37.51%. Figure 2, Figure 3 shows that in August, the world's top four major Web servers share decline. Of these, Apache accounted for 37.51% of the share, continued to rank in the first place, the chain fell 0.83% last month, the biggest decline. Microsoft was followed by a decrease from 2.96% to 0.05%, a significant reduction and a smaller share to 26.47%. and 3, 4 of Nginx and Google, the share growth has been negative, the decline was 0.33%, 0.1%, and then fell to 15.15%, 2.28%.

4, 5, in August, in the global mainstream Web server share, only the 2nd Nginx share continued to rise to 14.36%, a rise of 0.43%. In addition, the world still has more than half of active sites using Apache Web server, the market share of 50.51%, the chain down 0.15%;microsoft ranked 3rd, the share slid to 10.27%;google ranked 4th, the share dropped to 7.86%. Among them, Apache and Google's share growth positive negative.
