Bash: service: command not found

During the linux operation today, we need to restart the vsftpd service and use the service vsftpd restart. an uncertain error is reported:

Bash: service: command not found

So I went to the Internet and searched for it. the solution was actually quite simple. when I switched to the root account using su, I added a "-" before:

Su-root

Enter the root account before using

Service vsftpd restart

Problem solved!

Later, I went to the Internet to find some reasons for this error:

The service command is executed by the ROOT user, and the error user switches to the root user using the su ROOT command. this command does not bring the environment to it! Use the following command to avoid errors.
