Recently, we need to capture the PPTP package, so we set up the PPTP service area.
My environment Fedora 15
1. first install ppp
Yum install ppp-y
2. install pptpd
You need to find the poptop project on sourceforge and download the source code.
3. install pptpd
./Configure & make install
4. configure pptpd
Simple configuration is available in the pptpd sample directory and can be copied and used directly.
Among them, chap-secretsand options.ppt pd must be copied to/etc/ppp /.
Pptpd. conf needs to be copied to/etc
Cp sample/chap-secrets sample/options.ppt pd/etc/ppp/-f
Cp sample/pptpd. conf/etc/
5. modify configuration
Vim/etc/pptpd. conf
You can set the specified IP address segment at the bottom.
Vim/etc/ppp/chap-secret
This file specifies the login user name and password
6. Notes
Pptpd-f can be used to run the service on the frontend.
The file pptpd-logwtmp.so file may not be found at runtime, just copy
This file is in the specified directory.
OK. You can run the capture packet. if the connection fails in WINDOWS, you may need to configure another one,
However, it is almost the same.
