Canonical change Ubuntu14.10 (UtopicUnicorn) release plan will be released in December

Canonical updated the release plan of Ubuntu14.10 (UtopicUnicorn) two days ago. The last release date was changed from January 1, October 16 to January 1, October 23. The following is the updated release schedule: Alpha1 June 26 (for Special versions) Alpha2 July 31 (for Special versions) feature frozen August 21 Beta1 August 28 UI frozen September 11 Final Beta September 25 kernel frozen October

Canonical updated the release plan of Ubuntu 14.10 (Utopic Unicorn) two days ago. The last release date was changed from October 16 to October 23.

The updated release schedule is as follows:

Alpha 16-26 (for Special versions)

Alpha 2 November July 31 (for Special versions)

Feature freeze August 21

Beta1 August 28

UI frozen on January 1, September 11

Final Beta September 25

Kernel frozen on January 1, October 9

RC version October 16

The final release date of Ubuntu 14.10 is set to: October 23.

Note: The red color indicates a change compared to the previous plan.
