Install MySQL author from the Open source version: Maria DB

(Maria DB is like a shadow version of MySQL, the Maria database is a branch version of MySQL (branch), not a derived version (folk), and the functionality is fully compatible with MySQL).

1. Installation:

Yum Install-y mariadb-server

2. Start the Maria DB service:

Systemctl Start Mariadb.service

(Note: CentOS 7.x started, CentOS began to use the SYSTEMD service to replace the daemon, the original management system to start and manage system services related commands are all replaced by the Systemctl command. )

3. Add to boot from:

Systemctl Enable Mariadb.service
