By default, when you browse a Web page by using Visual Studio, the Web site is saved on IIS Express, which needs to be cleaned up manually. Cleanup can be done through the command line or interface.
-Via command line
→ Find appcmd.exe in C:\Program Files\IIS Express folder
→ Enter the following command to enter the C drive
→ Go to the folder where Appcmd.exe
→ List all websites saved on IIS Express
→ If you want to see the folder where the site is located
→ If you want to rename the site, such as to "the first WCF demo" renamed
→ If you want to delete a website, such as delete "HELLOWCF" this site
Note: Just delete the Web site on the IIS Express site and will not be deleted on disk.
-Through the interface
→ Click "File"--"new website"
→ For example, under Templates, select the Visual C # option
→ Click "Browse"
→ Click on "Local IIS" to see all the sites on IIS and IIS Express. Select the site and click the Delete button in the top right corner to delete the site.
Note: Just delete the Web site on the IIS Express site and will not be deleted on disk.
