1, restart the system, press the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to enter the GNU Grub page:

2, select the CentOS system, and then press "E" key to enter the following interface:

3, select the second item (kernel), then press "E" key, enter the following interface:

4. Enter a space after RHGB quiet, then enter "1" or "single" and press Enter to save. (Pass boot parameters to the kernel and enter single-user mode)
Now back to the Grub interface:

5, press "B" key, start Linux, enter the command line interface:

6. Enter the command "passwd root" and enter the new password and confirm the new password at the following command prompt.

7, the "All authentication tokens updated successfully" prompt, stating that the password changes successfully, enter the "shutdown-r Now" command line, restart the system.
