Compile and install PIDGIN2.3.1 -- Debian technology of the Linux release version. The following is a detailed description. I am using debia testing, and I have been using the CN99 source. The pidgin in the source cannot log on to my QQ number. Today, I found 2.3.1 in XP can log on to my QQ. Okay, switch to DEBIAN and compile and install a PIDGIN.

Delete the previously installed PIDGIN in the new IDE, download the PIDGIN source code package, and decompress the package.

Compile and install the PIDGIN environment! Apt-get install the following software packages!

Apt-get install gcc autoconf gdb automake1.9 libgtk2.0-dev libxml2-dev gettext libnss3-dev libnspr4-dev build-essential libxml-parser-perl libglib2.0-dev libglib2.0-dev libgstreamer0.10-dev

Then,./configure make install

It's done!
