Pppoeconf is not installed in debian by default. You can configure the adsl account password to access the Internet without using sudo pppoeconf on the terminal after ubuntu is installed. on the Internet, you can see that install modules = ppp-udeb is entered during debian CD installation, then, the system prompts you to configure the password of the ppp login account, but the system cannot access the Internet (maybe this is valid for automatic dialing ).
Ctrl + Alt + F1 open a shell and log on to the debian system disk as the root user.

Apt-get install pppoeconf
After installation, enter the pppoeconf command to configure the adsl account password.
