Solve the problem that Debian cannot sleep-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. The following is a detailed description. After Debian Lenny is installed, you cannot use System-> Shut Down-> Hibernate to perform sleep. An error message is displayed. At first, I thought that Debian does not support sleep at the moment, so I never cared about it. It was discovered recently that the reason was due to insufficient permissions of the current user.

Solution: System-> Administration-> Users and Groups-> Manage Groups, add the current user to the haldaemon and powerdev Groups, and restart.
