Debian is equipped with a pppoe line-Debian information for the Linux release. The following is a detailed description. I have applied for a China Telecom pppoe line, which should be used for routing on linux.

Apt-get install pppoe pppoeconf

Run pppoeconf and configure it as prompted.

Run the pon dsl-provider to dial up. Use plog and ifconfig to check the status.

Add a script myroute under/etc/ppp/ip-up.d to set the route to use when the dial is successful.

In this way, the pon dsl-provider can set routes at the same time.

When the dial is interrupted, you do not need to change the route. Because the routes are all enabled on interfaces such as ppp0, after ppp0 is disconnected, the routes will no longer follow.
