Debian login prompt information-Linux Release Technology-Debian information. The following is a detailed description. When using the debian system, the system prompts that the information file is/etc/issue and/etc/issue.net before logon, and the latter indicates network logon.

\ V, operating system version number
\ R, operating system version
\ S, operating system name
\ D, local date
\ T, local time
\ N, host network name
\ O, domain name
\ M, hardware level
\ L, number of login Terminals

The prompt file after login is/etc/motd, and/etc/motd. tail.
