Encryption:

At the command prompt, type:

ASPNET_REGIIS-PEF ConnectionStrings to encrypt the full path of the Web. config

Example: C:\Program Files (x86) \microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\vc>aspnet_regiis-pef "connectionStrings" D:\Scode \CPB2CNEW\BRANCHES\TRUNK\SRC\CLIENT\CP. Client "

Decrypt:

At the command prompt, type:

Aspnet_regiis-pdf ConnectionStrings to decrypt the full path of the Web. config

Example: C:\Program Files (x86) \microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\vc>aspnet_regiis-pdf " connectionStrings "D:\Scode\cpb2cNew\branches\trunk\src\client\CP." Client "

The Mail configuration in Web. config can also be encrypted and decrypted like a connection string.
