The system boot guide manager is the first program that runs after the computer is started. It is used to load and transmit data to the operating system kernel. The Installation Method of Fedora is quite different from that of Windows. Although it is also installed with a USB flash drive, the USB flash drive is no longer a boot disk, but a system installation disk. The USB flash drive is installed on the same disk as the disc. Instead of the USB flash drive, you can change the "insert a USB flash drive to a USB flash drive" action ", winPE is installed in the boot disk (I don't know what WinPE is), and the OS installation image is installed in the system installation disk (it can be understood as the operating system installation program, equivalent to the above Ghost image ). Of course, the creation of a system installation disk is not as simple as copying the system image to a USB flash disk. The specific difference is not very clear. I will study it later in this article.

The Installation Process of the Fedora USB flash drive is also relatively simple, but it is not difficult for me. The larger the USB flash drive, the better. The first problem I encountered was that when I used liveusb-creator, the Verifying... problem occurred. That is to say, I had a problem with the installation image of Fedora 15? Also, the original liveusb-creator has a BUG in win7, that is, it can only be in the default directory (that is, C: \ Program Files \...) install the SDK. (This BUG is only known to Google ......);

Later, I thought about whether it could be a system image problem. So I made the ubuntu10.04 and Red Hat9.0 installation disks, and they all stopped there ...... Nima! Is it a machine problem? Out of the pains of using unetbootin, I thought of the line "we have been using it all the time", and I gave up unetbootin to return to the embrace of liveusb-creator, I switched to a 2G USB flash drive and followed the steps above. There was no problem at all !! Strongly insert, boot, and install again! Perfect!

During installation, You need to partition the hard disk. Because it is a dual-system, I leave around GB of hard disk space for Fedora 15, before installing Windows, you can use the partition tool on the boot disk to separate two partitions and format them into the NTFS file system type. The remaining GB is retained as the free partition state, then, partition and format the file system to ext4 when installing Fedora.

To sum up, the problem I encountered was mainly caused by Kinston's USB flash drive. It indicates that lenovo and adata USB flash drives can be used for verification, and Kinston does not have problems with all USB flash drives, it seems to be related to mass production, and what can be cracked ......
