Use SSH commands, or putty, or any of your favorite SSH clients . Do not use a Web browser because it is not a webpage ...
What else does this matter with PHP?
SSH itself is a protocol that needs to be accessed using the SSH protocol, which is the HTTP or HTTPS protocol you are accessing in your browser.
