Fedora23 was officially released on November 3, and users can download it from getfedora.org. If you've upgraded your Fedora system before, you'll definitely know about the Fedup tool. Now, however, we need to upgrade to FEDORA23 using the DNF system upgrade plugin. This DNF plugin makes upgrading work easy.
Please note: The following actions apply to the English system, the Chinese system will appear in the upgrade bug! The following error will appear in the Chinese system:
Failed to load plugin: System_upgrade
In order to prevent this bug, the Chinese system must first change the locale to English in order to follow the steps below to upgrade. Enter the following command to change the locale to English:
sudo localectl set-locale. UTF-8
Then restart the system and follow the steps below to upgrade.
1, upgrade the FEDORA22 system software
Before upgrading to Fedora23, we will first upgrade the software on the FEDORA22 system. Enter the following command:
sudo DNF upgrade
2. Install DNF plug-in
Enter the following command to install the plugin Dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
sudo DNF install Dnf-plugin-system-upgrade
3. Upgrade to Fedora23
After the above steps, Fedora22 software upgrade to the latest version, the DNF Upgrade plugin is also installed. Now enter the following command to upgrade to Fedora23
sudo dnf system-upgrade download--releasever=23--best
This command downloads the packages needed for the upgrade. –best said that if there is a dependency problem can not solve, then cancel this upgrade. If there is a dependency problem, you can enter the following command to download
sudo dnf system-upgrade download--releasever=23--allowerasing
4. Restart the system and upgrade
After downloading the required packages for the upgrade, we will reboot to get the system into the upgrade state. Enter the following command:
sudo DNF System-upgrade reboot
The system will restart. Select the first fedora22 kernel in the Grub boot menu
Next, wait for the system upgrade to complete.
Automatically restarts when the upgrade is complete. In the Grub boot menu, select the first Fedora23 kernel.
View Fedora Versions
Enter the following command:

After upgrading the system, if you want to change back to Chinese, enter the following command to restart the system:
sudo localectl set-locale. UTF-8
