As a Linux enthusiast, I recently downloaded the werewolf Fedora8DVD from the Internet and installed it that night. The installation process went smoothly. I was shocked by the visual experience of Fedora8 during operation: the 3D desktop and water print effects were amazing! Click here again. However, I am helpless. I am also a music enthusiast, but I found that in Fedora8, apart from the basic wav format and the CD copy format of the same type, such as ogg, can be played, none of them can be broadcast.

However, I am helpless. I am also a music enthusiast, but I found that in Fedora 8, apart from the basic wav format and the CD copy format of the same type, such as ogg, can be played, no other player can be played, which is too troublesome for those who are used to getting down mp3 from the internet! It is said that it is because of copyright issues and no language. I found a lot of information from the Internet and found that the solution is very simple. on Linux, many open source media players only need to use the yum command on the Fedora terminal, however, my computer only connects to the campus network, and the domestic network speed is surprisingly slow, not to mention the international network. In desperation, I had to find the offline installation package, but I found a lot, not out of the source code package that requires compilation and reports various strange errors during compilation, it is the rpm package that cannot be run even if the installation is successful due to various software dependencies. After N hard attempts, I finally completely solved the problem of media playing on Linux yesterday. In fact, many people know the solution to this problem, why are there so few useful articles on the Internet? Is my "search provider" insufficient?
Download these two rpm packages from the Internet and install them:
1. realplayer for linux. rpm
2. compat-libstdc ++-33-3.2.3-62.i386.rpm
In this way, I am sure you will be able to play mp3 and other media formats! If you cannot find it, contact me. Wish you a pleasant journey in the Linux World!
