At the beginning of this month, it was reported that AMD will release Stream SDK for linux at the end of the month. AMD was not disappointing and soon released Stream SDK for linux. The version is named AMD Stream SDK v1.1-beta. AMD provides 32-bit and 64-bit versions, and of course also releases Windows versions.
Tests on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.1 and SuSE Enterprise Server SP1 have been completed. This version allows programmers to use the CAL and Brook + features of the R600 series graphics processor on the Linux platform.
