BlackBerry 5.0 integrates more content to attract developers

BlackBerry 5.0 introduces several features of BlackBerry smartphones. Some of these features may already be available on the current BlackBerry device software, according to the model of the BlackBerry smartphone. These new features can be divided into the following categories:

Flag small Red Flag

In BlackBerry OS 5.0, any email can be marked like a computer, just like a small red flag in the figure to remind you later. This can include any user-defined reminder information or tags that need to be searched and called again.

Automatic Error Correction and Automatic completion

The previous model can only be used for loading SureType keyboard features, automatic error correction, and automatic completion vocabulary in BlackBerry. Now BlackBerry OS 5.0 can be used for QWERTY keyboard models.

Synchronize multiple contact folders or address books

Multiple Contact folders or address book can be used on BlackBerry devices with OS 5.0 installed.

You can reselect the size for sending or sharing images.

When sending a photo or image, you will see a list of options to reset the size of the sent image.

Supports Bluetooth 2.1 and is safer and easier to use.

Bluetooth 2.1 with SSP (Secure Simple Pairing) can be used on OS 5.0 s.

Reminder mark added to the file

When BlackBerry 5.0 is used, a reminder sign will be added to the folder on the top of any program when there is a reminder. In this example, BlackBerry Messenger has a new message reminder, so the reminder icon will also appear in the Instant Messaging folder on the top layer.

Improved application in the Option List

In the list of application options> Applications on BlackBerry smartphones have a new user interface that allows an application to display any applications that are considered as core, appended or third-party, and name the search application, as shown in the following figure:

From the options on the home screen, BlackBerry device software 5.0 provides options to specify the application folder to be downloaded. The default location is in the download folder, unless the developer specifies a different location, the feature image in the well-known configuration application download folder is displayed in the following aspects:

Application Memory Management

When the available memory is insufficient on the BlackBerry smartphone, a dialog box is displayed, prompting you to delete applications that are not frequently used. This dialog box contains a list of applications that can be deleted, and you can select the application to be deleted.

A theme that provides a summary of the day's project and is available on the Precision theme now with BlackBerry device software 5.0. An example of this topic is shown as follows:

Configure the application download folder

With BlackBerry software 5.0, a third-party application developer can choose which folder to make their apps look in. As described above, if no folder is specified, the download folder is the default location to download any third-party applications.

Local or device application control

The local or device application control allows the BlackBerry Enterprise Server administrator to configure specific policy options for the application. Currently, it is not controlled and you choose to hide these settings. The following are examples of these controls:

Preliminary calendar view-allows a calendar application that controls display methods to be used on BlackBerry smartphones. The default value is day.

Preliminary calendar view-properties-controls whether the above items can be changed, hidden, or visible, but locked. The default value is editable.

Press and hold down the application switching and default actions in the menu, and click the menu button.

With BlackBerry software 5.0, if one person holds down the menu key, the application switches to display, and allows easy switching between applications. If you double-click the menu key and in an application, the default action is called. (For example, if you write an email or double-click the menu key, the email will be sent .)
