Install Redis under Ubuntu and use it in PHP

I. Installation of Redis

sudo Install Redis-server

Once the installation is complete, the Redis server will start automatically and we can check the following command line:

# redis-CLI127.0. 0.1:6379pingPONG

Description Service has started

Second, install the Php5-redis module

sudo Install Php5-redis

Restart Apache Service

sudo service apache2 restart

Then see if the Redis module is installed via Phpinfo

Third, test Redis in PHP

Write a simple PHP code test:

  1 <? PHP   2     $redisnew  Redis ();   3     $redis , connect (' 127.0.0.1 ', 6379);   4     $redis set (' Test ', "Hello World");   5     echo$redis , get (' Test ');   6?>

Operation Result:

# php-f redis.php Hello world

At this point all installation is complete.
