Install the AirVideo server in Ubuntu

Install the Air Video Server in Ubuntu to prepare the environment

1. SudoApt-getInstallLibmp3lame-dev libfaad-dev libx264-dev faac faad lame mpeg4ip-server git-core pkg-config

Download the AirVideo source code at http://www.inmethod.com/air-video/licenses.html. Select the latest 2.5
Configuration and installation. Note that the enable disable is preceded by two short bars. This topic has a bug.

1. ./Configure-enable-pthreads-disable-shared-enable-static-enable-gpl-enable-libx264-enable-libmp3lame-enable-libfaad-disable-Decoder =Aac
2. Make
3. Sudo Make Install

Download server jar package, http://inmethod.com/air-video/download/linux/alpha3/AirVideoServerLinux.jar

Download profile, http://inmethod.com/air-video/download/linux/alpha1/test.properties

The configuration file is roughly as follows:

1. Path. ffmpeg =/usr/Local/Bin/ffmpeg
2. Path.mp4 creator =/usr/bin/mp4creator
3. Path. faac =/usr/bin/faac
4. Password =
5. Subtitles. encoding = windows-1250
6. Subtitles. font = Verdana
7. Folders = Movies:/home // Videos, Series:/Volumes/Data/Series
