After the installation is complete, there is no problem in running Netbeans 6.0 M9, and Sun Application Server 9.10 is successfully started. Basically, the installation of NetBeans 6.0 M9 on linux is completed.
It can happen unexpectedly, but Eclipse cannot be started after running well. Think of NetBeans 6.0 M9 for Linux 32-bit and 64-bit, should support Linux 64-bit JDK. Therefore, the JDK 32-bit version is removed and switched back to the 64-bit version. After installing the jdk-6u1-linux-amd64-rpm.bin, start and run NetBeans 6.0 M9 and Eclipse for Linux AMD x64 with no problem.
From this point of view, NetBeans uses the Swing interface to ensure high portability. Eclipse uses SWT, and the dynamic Connection Library in SWT is related to the platform, which affects its cross-platform features.
