Sony announced that the PlayStation Vue will start landing next week on Android devices, the PlayStation Vue was launched in March 2015 and is Sony's cloud-based DVR live TV service, Android users will then be able to access on-demand content via a smartphone or tablet, watch a TV show online (the base package includes the 55+ channel), and the My shows feature, and the app also supports Chromecast or any Google cast device.
In March, Sony reduced its existing three packages to $10, Access is paid for $39.99 for 60 channels, and the core fee for 75 channels and national sports networks is $44.99, while elite subscription fees of over 100 channels are $54.99.
The new channels include ESPN, ESPN2, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, Disney XD, and Freeform (formerly ABC Family). If you're a core subscriber to the PlayStation Vue and have access to more ESPN channels, and elite subscribers can watch the fusion network of Disney and ABC, Sony also offers local ABC channels in 5 markets.
