Never delete the default python in/usr/bin !!! Remember!
The Ubuntu 10.04 LTS version is used, with Python 2.6.5 included. A few days ago, Python was upgraded to 2.7.3.
#./Configure -- prefix =/usr/local/python2.7
# Make
# Make install
# Cd/usr/bin
# Ln-sf/usr/local/bin/python
Everything went well. No problem!
However, I did a terrible job.
Ln-sf/usr/local/bin/python python2.6
This is one step. If you push me down, all the functions of the system cannot be used, such as the Ubuntu Software Center. Apt-get upgrade may also be faulty, prompting that the python version is not correct and changing to the default version. However, I have removed python2.6 from overwrite.
I thought it would be enough to replace it with 2.6. I downloaded 2.6.8 and 2.6.5 for compilation and installation. It seems that I can only find the original python2.6. Fortunately, I have installed 10.04 virtual machines, the problem was solved only by copying a copy from above.
So remind everyone again not to delete pythonx. x under/usr/bin and never touch it! Back up the data.
