Reset the root account password for MySQL

Stop MySQL service first

/etc/init.d/mysqld stop

Start MySQL in safe mode

/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe--skip-grant-tables--skip-networking &

/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql

UPDATE user SET Password=password (' 12345 ') WHERE user= ' root ';

Flush privileges;

Authorized

Grant all privileges on * * to [email protected] ' localhost ' identified by ' 123456 ';

Flush privileges;

There is a place to note that when the/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysqld_safe mode is started, the default is to read the data under/usr/local/mysql/data, If you put your data in another directory, you will get a wrong password and be denied login.
