Samsung Electronics today announced the bada 2.0 smartphone platform. The new smartphone operating system supports NFC and network applications, including HTML 5, WAC, multitasking, scalable user interfaces, and speech recognition. Samsung uses personalized screen lock, layout management, and 3D sound to improve user experience. After bada is released, the user experience will be continuously improved, so that developers can easily create applications with rich functions. The improved and upgraded bada platform performance is comparable to that of other popular smart phone platforms.

The bada 2.0 platform has an improved new software development kit (SDK), which will be open to more developers who develop applications for different PC operating systems. The SDK also contains an advanced code analysis tool and a rapid simulation tool, allowing developers to gain insight into their application performance.
Bada developer day
Bada 2.0 announced in the bada developer workshop that more than 200 developers around the world attended the meeting. Bada developer day is part of the application developers conference (ADC. Samsung held bada developer day in more than 40 countries.
Samsung told developers that with the success of the Wave series of mobile phones, Samsung Apps, the Samsung software store, has grown rapidly and the total number of Apps downloaded worldwide is expected to exceed 80 million in the short term, this proves that bada applications are increasingly popular among smartphone users.
Samsung also made a commitment to bada developers to create the best Mobile ecosystem through bada and launch a large number of technical support services.
