Block Event bubbling:
If the nested element has its own click event, the event of the outer element is triggered when the inner element is clicked.
function (event) { // code event.stoppropagation (); // Event object created by bind to execute } );
Block default behavior:
The default behavior in Web pages, such as link jumps and form submissions, can be blocked by the Preventdefault () method.
function (event) { var username = $ ("#username"). Val (); if (Username = = "") { event.preventdefault (); //Block The default commit behavior of the form }});
Note: If you want to stop bubbling and default behavior on the event object at the same time, you can return false in event handling, which is shorthand for calling both the Stopprapagation () and Preventdefault () events on the event object. In the top two examples, you can also change the corresponding method to return false;
