SonarQube 5.5 release, Code quality analysis System

SonarQube 5.5 Released, Sonar (SonarQube) is an open source platform for managing the quality of source code. Sonar is not just a quality data reporting tool, but also a code quality management platform. Supported languages include: Java, PHP, C #, C, Cobol, PL/SQL, Flex, and more.

The improvement records are as follows:

• The new SonarQube quality model, three major features:

• "Reliability" characteristic, based on "bugs"

• "Security" characteristic, based on "vulnerabilities"

• "Maintainability" characteristic, based on "code smells"

• Purpose is to highlight operational risk and remaining committed to manage the technical debt of the code (the default Q Uality Gate Highlights

• Replace old measure drillthrough page with new Measures project page

• More usable and reactive

• Offers various visualizations (Treemaps, Bubble charts, timelines) on top of drilldown capability

• Improved vertical scaling, performance and stability

• Report processing by the Compute Engine (i.e. background tasks) are now do in a dedicated process

• This processing can is multi-threaded to increase the throughput of the Compute Engine
