Geary is a free program that allows you to read emails quickly and conveniently. All its dialogs are displayed on a simple panel, so that you do not have to click to switch messages.
Geary also supports the IMAP protocol, so you can use online email services such as Google, Yahoo, and Microsoft.

sudo apt-get install geary
In earlier Ubuntu versions, pressCtrl-Alt-TYou can open the terminal. Run the following command to add the PPA source.

Next, run the following command to upgrade the system and install Geary.
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install geary
When starting Geary for the first time, you need to set up your Gmail, Yahoo, or Microsoft email account.
