PHP Connection MSSQL
$uid, "PWD" = $pwd, "Database" = "test"), $conn = Sqlsrv_connect ($serverName, $connectionInfo); if ($conn = = False) { echo "Connection failed! "; Die (Print_r (Sqlsrv_errors (), True));}? >
I read the online PHP connection MSSQL is the first method, but I used the first method has never been successful, so I always use the second way to connect MSSQL. What is the reason?
What's the difference between the two mssql_connect and sqlsrv_connect?

MSSQL extension is a library of PHP < 5.3 operating functions for SQL Server databases provided with the PHP release package
sqlsrv extension is PHP >= 5.3 Microsoft independently developed SQL Server database Operation function library (MSSQL extension stop release)
