MySQL Green Edition installation

2. Configuring the My.ini File
Unzip the downloaded file to the specified directory. Such as:
My.ini File Contents:

3. Perform the installation of MySQL
The command line enters the file directory:
Execute mysqld Install command, the following prompt, the installation is successful.
Service sucessfully installed.
Note: If there is
Install/remove of the Service Denied
Please use the administrator to start the command line.
4. Initializing the database
Execute mysqld--initialize
The command does not have an output hint.
The new MySQL default does not have the Data folder, can not be manually created, initialization will generate a root password.
The root password is initialized in the Data folder *.err file:
5. Start the MySQL service
Execute net start MySQL
Note: Starting the MySQL service can be under any path, and the command line must be run as an administrator.
6. Go to MySQL
Execute mysql-u root-p #注: This command can only be executed in the MySQL bin file path.
Enter the password and enter the system.
7. Change the root password
Execute set password for [email protected] = password (' 123 ');
8. Add an environment variable (optional)
Add "C:\Users\venn\mysql-5.7.18-winx64\bin" to the path to execute the MySQL command in any location.
