The following describes how to install Windows XP in VirtualBox and precautions.

1. first, get a Windows XP installation disk. Haha, it is best to first create an iso image, and the hard disk installation is much faster than the CD installation, creating an iso file in Linux does not require installation of software as in Windows. You can run a cp command, which is simple.

Cp/dev/cdrom ~ /Winxp. iso

2. open VirtualBox and click "NEW" on the toolbar. First, you will be asked to enter the name of the Virtual Machine and the system to be installed. The list includes from DOS to the latest Vista, from Linux2.2-2.6, and even a small part of Unix systems, we certainly chose Windows XP.

3. Select the virtual memory size. If it is not a large program running, select MB to run smoothly. This parameter can be modified, and it doesn't matter.
