Currently, more and more integrated php runtime environments are available. I personally prefer XAMPP, which is fast to update, easy to use, and easy to install. The installation under windows is the next step and the next step. there is nothing to say about it. let's talk about the installation under linux. here we will take CentOS as an example. 1. download XAMPP. if you directly use wget to download xampp from the XAMPP official website, you cannot download it successfully due to various walls. you can select your desired version from this link. Currently, more and more integrated php runtime environments are available. I personally prefer XAMPP, which is fast to update, easy to use, and easy to install. The installation under windows is the next step and the next step. there is nothing to say about it. let's talk about the installation under linux. here we will take CentOS as an example.
1. download XAMPP
If you directly use wget to download data from the xampp official website, you cannot download the data from various walls. you can select the desired version from this link. In linux I selected, the 64-bit version is 5.6.14.
Run the following command to download the file:
# wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/xampp/files/XAMPP%20Linux/5.6.14/xampp-linux-x64-5.6.14-0-installer.run
After the download is successful, the directory named:xampp-linux-x64-5.6.14-0-installer.run
.
II. Installation
Before installation, you must first grant the xampp installation package executable permissions.
# chmod 777 xampp-linux-x64-5.6.14-0-installer.run
Run./xampp-linux-x64-5.6.14-0-installer.run
Installation. Select the desired part as prompted:
So far, the installation process has been completed.Start xampp:
# /opt/lampp/lampp start
Stop xampp:
# /opt/lampp/lampp stop
Uninstall xampp:
# /opt/lampp/lampp stop# rm -rf /opt/lampp
3. make the LAN accessible
After the installation is complete, locahost is usually used for access, but it is usually not accessible when other hosts in the same LAN use a domain name. There are two possible scenarios: 1. xampp configuration file:/opt/lampp/etc/extra/httpd-xampp.conf to block the content
#Require localErrorDocument 403 /error/XAMPP_FORBIDDEN.html.var
2. if the access is still inaccessible after the above modification, it may be because the firewall has killed port 80, shut down the firewall, or configured port 80 to allow access.
IV. installation settings
In the default installation process, xampp has no password. to ensure security, we should set a password for xampp. What should I do?
# /opt/lampp/lampp security
Set the xampp password:XAMPP: Quick security check... XAMPP: Your XAMPP pages are NOT secured by a password. XAMPP: Do you want to set a password? [Yes] yew XAMPP: Do you want to set a password? [Yes] yes XAMPP: Password: XAMPP: Password (again ):
