Although the GUI program can be used to manage MySQL, but some of the features are not available in the graphical user interface program,

Sometimes we have to use commands to fulfill our needs, so we understand some common MySQL commands

is very useful.

1.MySQL self-bringing tool storage path:

D:\Program files\mysql\mysql Server 5.6\bin //Please be flexible

For ease of use, we can add the above path to the system's environment variable path

If you do not, you may not be able to open the corresponding program in CMD.

2. Log in to MySQL locally

Command: Mysql-u root-p//root is the user name, enter this command hit ENTER after the system will prompt you to enter the password

Then you enter the correct password and click the Enter key to log in to the MySQL database.

3. Specify the port number to log in to the MySQL database

To change the above command: Mysql-u root-p to Mysql-u root-p-P 3306, note that the letter p for the specified port is uppercase,

The P that identifies the password is lowercase. MySQL default port number is 3306

4. Specify the IP address and port number to log in to the MySQL database

The command format is: mysql-h ip-u root-p-P 3306 For example: Mysql-h 127.0.0.1-u root-p-P 3306
