The uninterruptible power supply (UPS) battery can usually be used for 3 to 5 years. Life expectancy depends on multiple factors, including usage (the number of times the device must be in battery mode) and other environmental factors. 1. Ensure that your UPS is placed in a cool, dry, and well ventilated place. Ideally, the temperature of the UPS should be at least 24 degrees Celsius. At the same time, for the purpose of ventilation, each side should set aside about 1 to 2 inch space for air circulation.

2. One to two UPS operation calibration is performed each year only when necessary. Sometimes you can perform runtime calibration to verify that your Runtime is sufficient. However, frequent calibration during Operation reduces the life expectancy of the battery.

3. Do not store the battery for too long. The new battery can be stored for 6-12 months. After this time, the battery should be used as soon as possible; otherwise, a large amount of power will be lost. It is not recommended to store used batteries.

4. Do not load more than 80% of the UPS device's rated capacity, because this will reduce the running time. When the load increases, the running time decreases accordingly. If the power supply is not available, the fully-loaded UPS will soon exhaust and release its battery power, reducing the battery life expectancy. Note: Do not connect the laser printer to the backup battery outlet of the UPS to ensure a longer battery period. Make sure that the laser printer uses a "surge protection only" socket (use the appropriate model ).
