The gOS Dev Board is the core of the $200 Everex TC2502 Linux Low-cost computer at $60. This compact, efficient, and compatible X86 motherboard comes with a lightweight Linux-based operating system, mainly using Google Apps. GOS is based on Ubuntu 7.10. In addition to some local applications such as OpenOffice.org, gOS is mainly composed of Google applications. It uses the lightweight Enlightenment window manager to replace complicated Gnome/KDE desktops, google is the ruler of the interface.
