This is a creation in Article, where the information may have evolved or changed.
    1. 20140414: The latest installation methods, the following can be ignored: https://code.google.com/p/greatagent/

    2. Windows installation is relatively simple, many online, can refer to http://mao[x]lihui.com/g[delete my]oagent-detailed-version-of-the-tutorial.html, or https://co[x ]de.g[x]oogle.com/p/go[delete My]agent/is very detailed.

The one thing it doesn't mention is:

Upload the application when the password used is not the Gmail mailbox password, but application-specific password, if it is the first time set, need to G[x]oogle account has a "two times verification" of things, find it, it will generate a 16-bit password, written on paper, the password will only appear this time. If you don't remember, it can only be regenerated.

Supplement 20121109:

Simply:

1) apply for Google AppEngine and create AppID. (Alternate download Linux version)
2) Download Go[x]agent stable version http://co[x]de.google.com/p/go[x]agent/, unzip (backup download)
3) Modify the Local\proxy.ini [Gae] under the appid= your AppID (multi-AppID please separate)
4) Double-click the Server\uploader.bat to use (two authentication password) after uploading successfully

5) Set the browser proxy and enter the IP address 127.0.0.1 and port 8087 in the proxy settings. In the Tools-"Interner options-" Connect-LAN settings.

6) use. Open the Go[x]egent.exe,ok under Local.

2. Ubuntu installation g*oagent laborious, always stuck in the upload step. The specific steps are:

1) Gmail account

2) Create a Google AppEngine ID. https://appengine.google.com/, after a series of operations, remember that you just applied for the application identifier (APPID), this is the unique identifier of your application.

3) Set two-step verification password. Click on your Google account, there will be a security settings, there is a two-step verification. Follow the prompts, generate a 16-bit password, write on the paper, do not write wrong.

4) Download Go[del]agent client https://code.google.com/p/go[del]agent/(alternate download)

Download the Python version of the Google_appengine SDK (Linux) https://developers.google.com/appengine/downloads (alternate download)

5) Right-click to extract Google_appengine to a directory, the Go[del]agent decompression to Google_appengine

6) Enter the Go[del]agent directory, the following two folders local and server, first into the local, find Proxy.ini, open, in [Gae] under a appid=, the equal sign after the change to your AppID, notice the middle of the space do not delete.

Then enter server-python, open app.yaml, add your AppID to the application, and do not delete the space.

7) Open terminal, CD to Google_appengine directory, run Python go[del]agent-xxxxxx/server/uploader.zip

or run. /appcfg.py update./go[del]agent-xxxxxxx/server/python (This method I tried several times, always upload failed), if not installed Python, first installed. sudo apt-get install python.

8) Upload the application process needs to enter your Gmail and password, the password is the 3rd step of the 16-digit password, and then over time, upload success (most of the errors are in this step, slowly, it is not possible to put a place, it may be two days to try to succeed. )

9) After the upload prompt successful, Go[del]agent's setup is complete, the next need to set up a browser, mainly proxy settings. Take Firefox as an example

Proxy settings: Install the Foxyproxy plugin, in the Tools-"Add components, search for Foxyproxy, and then click Install." Restart Firefox, go to Tools-"Add components-" extension, click Foxyproxy Preferences, Proxy Server-"new proxy Server-" general-"agent name: a random name-" Proxy Server details-"Manually configure the proxy server-" host or IP address: 127.0.0.1 Port 8087, OK. Go back to the Foxyproxy main panel, select the Working mode-"Choose the server you just set up, OK."

Import Certificate: Edit-"Preferences-" advanced-"Encryption-" View Certificate-"Certificate Authority-" Import-"import CA.CRT under the local.

10) Enter the terminal, Google_appengine directory, run Python go[del]agent-xxxxx/local/proxy.py start go[del]agent. Restart Firefox, you can turn the [x] wall.

At this point, the terminal will always scroll to display the browser's [x] wall information, the Firefox address bar on the edge of a small fox's avatar has been flashing, indicating that foxyproxy at work.

Later, if you want to turn [x] wall, open Foxyproy and run proxy.py, do not have to turn off, or you will waste Google's free traffic, speed is not fast.

Supplement 20121112: If Goxagent suddenly does not make a case, you can try to change the Local/proxy.ini in the profile = google_ch to profile = Google_hk.
