Problem Description:

The previous two days submitted the company product 2.0.7 version to Apple Audit, yesterday prompt was rejected. The reason for rejection is not described. We have been modified to re-package the upload, but how can not be submitted. Because there are already 2.0.7 Release packages in Apple's background (the one that was rejected). What can I do about it? Is it hard to change the version to 2.0.8 release? But this is not good, will let the user think that the middle version leaked.

Workaround:

On Xcode, you can review the project configuration for your projects. In the Info page, there are two version numbers to fill, and I don't know if you've noticed.

One is bundle Version, the other is bundle versions string, short. These two values are the same by default.

Bundle versions string, short is the version number displayed externally, and also the version number shown on itunes, in the format "x.y.z".

Bundle version is the development of internal use, the format is self-defined.

So it's easy to solve the problem, and we'll just modify the build number to differentiate the previous package.

Change bundle version from 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1, then recompile the package and upload it to Apple backstage via application loader.

After that, we select the newly submitted package on the Go to publishing page, as shown in the following:


Do you see the version number in the parentheses below? That's the bundle Version we just modified. OK, save the submission review.
