We are about to abandon windows in recent days, but we still have some things to use in windows, such as the exchange mailbox and MS communicator.
However, we found that exchange can be done through our own research.
Method 1: OWA ---> Use evolution
The exchange Mailbox server can receive and send emails on the webpage, using the OWA function.
Evolution supports this plug-in.
Usage: when adding an account, select microsoft exchange as the Account type.
The OWA address can be used to view the email address on the Web page when you access the internet. For details, ask the administrator. I used this method in the past. It is not easy to use. It is very slow. Abandon.
Method 2: imap --> evolution or other mail clients such as kmail or thunderbird.
Previously, I agreed that exchange is different from pop3 and imap's other mail protocols.
Later, it was found that exchange used the imap protocol.
Next, open your outlook in windows.
In Tools> Email Accouts... select view or change exisiting email accounts> select the exchange server and click change. The server address is displayed in the next dialog box.
Use linux to create a mail account in evolution or other mail clients such as kmail or thunderbird, and use the imap protocol.
The server address is the copied address. the user name and password are your outlook or domain account and password.
Try it. I succeeded.
