You can split an HTML document into several paragraphs.
HTML Paragraph
The paragraph is defined by the <p> tag.
Instance
<p>this is a paragraph</p><p>this is another paragraph</p>
Note: The browser automatically adds blank lines to and from the paragraph. (<p> is a block-level element)
Tip: Using an empty paragraph mark <p></p> to insert a blank line is a bad habit. Replace it with a <br/> tag! (But don't use the <br/> tag to create a list.) Do not worry, you will learn the HTML list later in the space. )
Don't forget to end the tag
Even if you forget to use the end tag, most browsers will display HTML correctly:
Instance
<p>this is a paragraph<p>this is another paragraph
The above example is not a problem in most browsers, but do not rely on this approach. Forgetting to use the end tag can produce unexpected results and errors.
Note: It is not allowed to omit the end tag in future HTML versions.
Tip: Closing HTML by closing a tag is a future-proof way to write HTML. Clearly mark where an element begins and where it ends, making the code easier to understand, both for you and for the browser.
