1.localstorage:localstorage does not have time-limited data storage, that is, localstorage is never expired unless the data is actively deleted. Data can span multiple windows, ignoring the current session and being collectively accessed and used in the same domain.

2.sessionStorage for a session of data storage, any one page stored information in the window in the same domain page can access its stored data. The value of each window is independent, its data will be lost due to the window closing, sessionstorage between different windows is not shareable
