I hope you can give me some advice on how to install gentoo. -- Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following section. I'm intel's i3-2310M processor and don't know if I can download and install gentoo's livedvd-x86-amd64-32ul-11.2-iso. There's 2.6G. Can I install it directly without compiling the kernel? Like utubntu's iso installation? Also, if you can install the kernel in this way, can you directly update the very old kernel to the latest kernel without installing the kernel in the middle?
